Scanfil and Sigma Connectivity enter into strategic cooperation
Scanfil plc, a Global Contract Manufacturer and Systems Supplier, has teamed up in a strategic partnership with Sigma Connectivity, an innovative design house that develops the products of tomorrow. With the new partnership agreement, they deepen their already existing successful cooperation to strengthen their offers towards their customers.
Scanfil has, during the last years, heavily strengthen its core capabilities in electronic production and complex system integration manufacturing. To take the next step in Scanfil’s already firm total offer, both parties now broaden their offering towards its present and future customers, with focus on Time-to-Market, Total Cost and State-of-the-Art competences. Together we will take our customers’ products all the way, from design and development to serial production.
“We have always had a common focus – a short time-to-market at the highest quality possible; therefore our new partnership with Scanfil is not only exciting but also a natural step forward. It will enable us to offer a complete development and production process to our customers with a like-minded partner and with that widening the offer of our Design House further, says Björn Lundqvist, CEO, Sigma Connectivity
“I am excited about the new opportunities this cooperation will bring. Scanfil has a successful record of accomplishment of offering a wide service portfolio in combination with our production offer, and Product Development has been one of the most important services to create new and grow existing production businesses. Scanfil’s existing development centers in Sweden and Finland will continue to serve our local start-ups and mid-size customers while our new stronger partnership with Sigma will enable us to meet our growing global customer base, with a need of more and bigger development projects. We will also be able to identify new market opportunities, both for our existing and new customers, by making our customers’ products “smarter” through connectivity solutions – and essentially redefining our customers’ experience,” says Kristoffer Asklöv, VP, Strategy & Business Development, Scanfil
